Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton believes that Michu and Wilfried Bony will form a strong partnership in attack this season.
Michu, who arrived at the club last summer, netted 22 times for the Premier League side during an impressive first season in Wales.
Bony, who joined the Swans from Vitesse Arnhem this summer, netted twice on his debut against Malmo in the Europa League last week.
"They are on the same wavelength. Good players understand each other's games. Any partnership takes time to develop and that's why they'll only get better the longer they have," he told PA.
"It's still very early for them. When Wilfried signed he wasn't here for the first week because he had to get a work permit, but the partnership looks very promising and gives us a new dimension.
"Michu showed last season what a player he is and now Wilfried comes in and scores two on his debut. It is very exciting. He's not been here long, it's the early stages, but the partnership looks very promising."
Swansea face Malmo in the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie on Thursday.
