Burnley have reportedly launched a £12m bid for Swansea City midfielder Sam Clucas.
The 27-year-old has just completed his first campaign with the Swans, scoring three goals from 29 appearances as the Welsh club dropped out of the Premier League.
In contrast, Burnley will be competing in the Europa League next term after finishing seventh in the top flight and will take on Aberdeen in qualifying next week.
According to The Sun, Clarets boss Sean Dyche wants a wide player with Premier League experience ahead of the start of their European campaign and, with Swansea in the Championship, they could be more likely to part with their big earners.
Clucas previously spent a season at Chesterfield, a former club of both Dyche and Nicky Law, the Burnley head of recruitment.
