Mark Gower has extended his stay at Swansea City with a fresh one-year deal.
The midfielder, who was coming to the end of his current contract, is "delighted" to have secured the next year at the Liberty Stadium.
"It took a while to get everything agreed, but I am delighted to finally sign the extension," said Gower. "It means I can concentrate fully on my football and help to establish Swansea City as a Premier League club.
"I'm feeling fit and enjoying my football more than ever. The way the manager wants us to play the game means it's a pleasure to be part of this midfield and this club."
Swans boss Brendan Rodgers added: "Mark thoroughly deserves this. He is a great professional who is getting a chance in the Premier League when he probably should have been playing at this level many years ago."
The 33-year-old, who began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, joined the Welsh side three years ago.
