Ki Sung-yueng has penned a new four-year deal at Swansea City.
The 24-year-old midfielder revealed earlier this week that he was in talks with the Welsh outfit over extending his stay at the Liberty Stadium, with the contract now officially signed.
"My first option was always to renew with Swansea," Ki told the club's official website. "I am very pleased with all of the players and staff at the club, so I am very happy to sign a new contract.
"This team has a great potential, and I am sure that we will be amazing as time goes by. In my first season, we finished ninth. But this year, I think we can go further. I want to make sure we improve."
Ki, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, scored in the Swans' opening-day victory against Manchester United.
