Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup's agent has claimed that the Dane will discuss signing a new contract with the club in the "coming days".
The 48-year-old, whose deal expires at the end of next season, has expressed a desire to stay at the Liberty Stadium.
While Laudrup has claimed that he is in no rush to put pen to paper on a 12-month extension, the manager's agent Bayram Tutumlu has revealed that talks are imminent.
"Yes, Swansea has a strong interest in extending Michael Laudrup's contract," Tutumlu told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, according to ITV Sport. "In the coming days, we will meet with Swansea and discuss the possibility of an extension."
Laudrup and his Swans currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table.
