Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has revealed that he is staying at the club after holding talks with manager Garry Monk.
The 32-year-old had been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium after falling down the Swans pecking order.
However, Britton has said that he wants to remain with the Welsh side and fight for his place.
"I spoke to the manager about two weeks ago and it was decided that the best thing for me was to stay here," he told BBC Sport.
"It looks like I'll be staying here and I'm delighted with that."
Britton has made 142 appearances since rejoining Swansea in 2011.
