Swansea City have reportedly held talks with Malaga over the potential loan departure of Borja Baston.
Last summer, the Premier League outfit paid a club-record fee to sign the forward from Atletico Madrid, but he endured a disappointing first year in English football.
The 24-year-old made just four starts in the top flight and with just one goal coming from 549 minutes of action, it appears that Swansea are looking to part ways with him.
According to BBC Wales Sport, negotiations are being held with Malaga, who are said to be interested in a season-long loan deal.
Malaga are looking for a replacement for Sandro Ramirez, who is on the brink of a transfer to Everton, and Borja fits the bill after previously enjoying success back in his homeland.
It had previously been claimed that Swansea were keen to recoup the fee they paid for Borja before the start of last season, but it appears that their stance has now changed.
