Newcastle United are reportedly eager to claim the services of Swansea City's Danny Graham ahead of local rivals Sunderland.
The 27-year-old had been tipped to join the Black Cats over the coming days in a bid to find more regular starting action.
However, having been beaten to services of Loic Remy by Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has now turned his attention to the Swansea frontman, according to Goal.com.
The report has claimed that while Sunderland still believe that they are the favourites to land the centre-forward, he is keen to listen to any offer that Newcastle have to make.
Recent speculation has suggested that Swansea will demand £5m before they consider parting with the former Watford player.
