Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho this month.
Sakho came close to leaving West Ham in the summer, but ultimately stayed at the London Stadium.
The Frenchman is widely expected to depart the Hammers in the January transfer window, however, with his agent Thierno Seydi recently claiming that his client is desperate to seek pastures new.
According to Wales Online, Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal, who started his tenure with a 2-1 win over Watford on Saturday afternoon, has identified Sakho as the perfect player to boost his team's chances of survival this season.
Sakho has made 14 Premier League appearances for West Ham this season - scoring twice - but the 28-year-old is yet to start a game in the top flight during the 2017-18 campaign.
A number of French clubs are also believed to be monitoring developments surrounding a player that will be out of contract at West Ham this summer.
