Swansea City have entered the race to sign Hakim Ziyech from FC Twente this summer, according to reports.
The 23-year-old impressed for the Dutch outfit last season, scoring 17 goals and assisting 12 more in 33 league games to draw the attention of clubs around Europe.
Newly-promoted Premier League outfit Middlesbrough were thought to be closing in on a deal for the Morocco international, but Calciomercato reports that they will now face competition for his signature.
Sampdoria are also understood to be interested in the attacker, but the report claims that Swansea have emerged as frontrunners in the race.
Should the deal be completed then Ziyech would be Swansea's first signing of the summer.
