Swansea City have announced that they have signed Nottingham Forest midfielder Barrie McKay.
The Scot netted five times in 26 appearances in the Championship last season, but the 23-year-old became surplus to requirements due to Forest making a number of high-profile signings during the summer.
That has let in Swansea to sign McKay for an undisclosed fee, with the player penning a three-year contract at the Liberty Stadium.
McKay told the club's official website: "It's great to be here. It is a new project for me and I am really looking forward to it.
"Swansea is a massive club. It was obviously a disappointment for them to be relegated and I want to help the club get back to where they should be. The Championship is a hard league – anyone can beat anyone – but there is no reason why we cannot do well."
McKay had previously spent time with Rangers, Greenock Morton and Raith Rovers before making the switch to the City Ground last summer.
