Swansea City are to face competition to land Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis from Shahktar Donetsk, according to a report.
The Swans were hopeful of adding the 27-year-old for a fee in the region of £8.5m to pair him alongside Michu next season.
However, their plans have been dealt a blow as the Ukrainian side are set to join the race to sign the France international and can offer him Champions League football, reports The Mirror.
Gomis scored 18 goals for Lyon last season.
