Swansea City have moved quickly to replace Scott Sinclair, having a £5m offer accepted for Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez.
Sinclair is currently undergoing a medical at Manchester City and is poised to complete his £6.2m move to the Premier League champions before Friday's 11pm transfer deadline.
Michael Laudrup has been aware of Sinclair's impending exit for some time and has therefore had Hernandez lined up as an alternative for several weeks.
The Spanish winger is keen to reunite with Laudrup, with whom he worked at La Liga outfit Getafe, and will now travel to Wales to complete a medical and discuss personal terms.
Hernandez joined Valencia from Getafe in 2008 and has scored 16 goals in 111 appearances during a four-year spell at the Mestalla.
