Swindon Town captain Nathan Thompson has won an appeal to have his red card against Cheltenham Town overturned.
The defender was dismissed on Saturday during his side's 5-0 defeat in the first round of the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old had been sent off twice previously this season before he was shown a red card against Cheltenham.
However, the punishment has now been withdrawn with immediate effect following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
Thompson and his Swindon teammates are back in action on Saturday when they host leaders Bristol City in League One.
