Two goals either side of half time gave Swindon Town a comfortable win over Crewe Alexandra this afternoon.
A well-executed free kick from Yaser Kasim gave the Robins the lead on 35 minutes, and the home side did not let up for the remainder of the first half.
Crewe tried to push for an equaliser in the second half, leaving themselves open to the counter-attack, with Brad Smith hitting the bar and another Kasim free kick stinging Ben Garrett's fingertips in the Crewe goal.
Swindon put the result beyond doubt with just over 10 minutes to go when they pinched the ball in the middle of the park and got it to Andy Williams, who slotted home to make it 2-0.
Crewe knew that the game was beyond rescue at this stage and over 6,000 Robins fans went home happy with three points.
