Switzerland vs. Italy (Saturday, 5.00pm)
Familiar foes Switzerland and Italy clash in Berlin on Saturday evening, as they kick off Euro 2024's knockout phase.
The two neighbours convene at the iconic Olympiastadion, with the winner of their last-16 tie meeting either England or Slovakia in the quarter-finals.
We say: Switzerland 1-1 Italy (Switzerland win after extra time and penalties)
A cautious contest is to be expected between two teams that know each other so well, having met in several big games and with many Swiss stars plying their trade on the Italian peninsula.
Though they memorably won Euro 2020 by prevailing on spot-kicks at Wembley, Italy's propensity to falter from 12 yards looms large; if they can find a way past Gianluigi Donnarumma, then steely Switzerland could edge through to the quarter-finals.

Germany vs. Denmark (Saturday, 8.00pm)
The second of two Euro 2024 last-16 ties taking place on Saturday, hosts Germany clash with Denmark at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund in the late kickoff.
Julian Nagelsmann's men topped Group A to cruise into the knockout rounds, while their Scandinavian counterparts nabbed second place in a highly forgettable Group C.
We say: Germany 2-0 Denmark
While Germany's display versus Switzerland in the final group game left a lot to be desired, Nagelsmann's men could be forgiven for easing off a tad with their last-16 place already sealed, and we ought to see a rejuvenated Mannschaft side at the Signal Iduna Park.
Denmark have made a habit of keeping games close at Euro 2024, but even a rejigged German backline should not have much trouble repelling the Scandinavians' often futile attacks, and we can only envisage Nagelsmann's men marching onto the last eight.
