Great Britain forward Kim Little has said that she is looking forward to kicking off the Olympics when she and her teammates take on New Zealand at 4pm today.
Little is one of only two Scottish players in the squad with the remaining 16 being English, and the 21-year-old admits that she is excited to be taking part.
"I am glad to be part of the Great Britain team and hopefully we can do well," Little told BBC Sport.
"A lot of the English girls have played in Euros and World Cups, but for me and Iffy Dieke (the other Scottish player) it is completely new.
"However [it is] very exciting, I wouldn't say daunting, and I can't wait to get out there."
Team GB also take on Cameroon and Brazil in Group E.
