Toronto FC have announced that they have signed Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar on loan.
The 34-year-old has moved to the MLS to gain more playing time ahead of the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
The length of the loan deal for the former Inter Milan stopper has not been disclosed.
"Adding a player of Julio Cesar's experience and ability only strengthens our club both in the short and long term," Toronto general manager Tim Bezbatchenko told the club's official website.
"We are committed to creating a culture of winning at TFC, and there are few people in the world of soccer with a proven track record of consistently getting results that Julio has.
"We are very excited to bring him to Toronto FC."
The Brazil international has made just one appearance for QPR this season.
