Former Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox has been appointed as the new manager of Torquay United.
Cox was dismissed at Field Mill in November, but the 43-year-old has been handed a chance to return to the game with Torquay after Chris Hargreaves was placed on gardening leave.
Chairman David Phillips told BBC Sport: "Paul Cox has all the credentials we're looking for.
"He's been there and done it, he got Mansfield out of the Conference and into the league and that's what we want him to do with us."
A consortium headed by Dean Edwards recently completed a takeover of the club.
