Toulouse remain in fifth in Ligue 1 after a 1-1 draw with Lorient on Saturday.
It was the home side who exerted the early pressure and Paulo Machado came close to opening the scoring after seven minutes, but his effort just missed the post.
Machado again went close moments later, after good work from Pavle Ninkov, but again his finish was wide of the target.
Lorient were not without their chances, however, and Arnold Mvuemba brought a fine save from Ali Ahamada after 12 minutes.
Emmanuel Riviere was next to go close for the home side after 15 minutes, but his effort was clawed away by Fabien Audard.
The dangerous Machado again came close after 24 minutes, but his effort was pushed away by Audard in the Lorient goal.
Toulouse continued to dominate in the latter stages of the half, but twice Lorient came close through Lamine Kone and Bruno Ecuele Manga on the stroke of half time, as the opening period remained goalless.
The home side took the lead after 51 minutes when Lorient's Lucas Mareque could only find his own net after good work from Serge Aurier.
Lorient came close to levelling the match on the hour mark, but Mathias Autret's header drifted just wide of the post.
Lorient did level the match, however, just past the hour mark when Innocent Emeghara found a cool finish after good work from Sigamary Diarra.
Both sides pushed for the winner in the latter stages, but it was Toulouse who missed a golden chance to secure the victory when Daniel Braaten headed wide after 86 minutes.
