Guingamp took the lead with what was their first chance of the game as Thibault Giresse found himself with space inside the box, leaving the striker to finish delicately into the centre of goal.
Adrien Regattin looked to probe in the first half and he provided the assist for Toulouse's equaliser by playing in Tongo Doumbia, who drilled across goal and into the far corner of Jonas Lossl's net.
Giresse almost turned provider on the stroke of half time when he sent the ball into the box for a leaping Jeremy Sorbon, but the defender sent his header high and wide from a mere six yards out.
Toulouse wasted a perfect chance to win the game when Benjamin Angoua brought down Uros Spajic inside the box, but the outsmarted Ben Yedder saw his effort from 12 yards saved in the centre of goal by Lossl.
