Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in the Championship on Saturday, July 18.
Saturday morning's Championship transfer talk news roundup:
Tottenham Hotspur 'to sign Wigan Athletic teenager
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to signing Wigan Athletic teenager Alfie Devine.
At a time when the club are in administration, the entire first-team squad at the DW Stadium is effectively up for sale.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Spurs have instead moved to secure the signature of 15-year-old youth team player Devine.
The move comes after the midfielder made a positive impression against the North London outfit during their FA Youth Cup tie earlier this season.
The report suggests that Spurs will have to pay in the region of £500,000 should Devine activate a number of clauses over the coming years.
West Ham United to move for Wigan Athletic defender Cedric Kipre?
Wigan Athletic defender Cedric Kipre is reportedly attracting attention from West Ham United.
Although the Hammers are yet to retain their Premier League status for another 12 months, David Moyes may be restricted in the transfer market over the coming months due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Daily Mail, this has resulted in the East London outfit expressing an interest in Kipre.
With Wigan having been placed into administration, they are open to offers for all of their players, who are currently attempting to keep the Latics in the Championship.
In the absence of regular centre-back partner Cheyenne Dunkley, Kipre has played a crucial role, helping Wigan keep 10 clean sheets in their last 11 fixtures.
The report claims that teams in Germany are also admirers of the player.
