Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in La Liga on Wednesday, January 27.
Wednesday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:
Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard 'completes Arsenal medical'
Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard has reportedly completed his medical at Arsenal ahead of a loan move to the Emirates Stadium.
The Norway international was given the green light to head out on loan after struggling for game time under Zinedine Zidane, and Arsenal appear to have won the race for his signature.
Odegaard was linked with a temporary switch back to Real Sociedad in the January transfer window, but Sky Sports News now reports that he has completed a medical at Arsenal ahead of a six-month loan deal.
It is understood that the deal does not include an option to buy as Real Madrid chiefs are convinced that he will eventually come good in the Spanish capital.
The 22-year-old's arrival in North London will supposedly be announced within the next 24 hours, with Arsenal due to take on Southampton in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners have been on the lookout for a new creative player after terminating the contract of Mesut Ozil - who has now joined Fenerbahce - and Mikel Arteta's side are supposedly still interested in a summer deal for Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia.
Ronald Koeman hits back at Paris Saint-Germain interest in Lionel Messi
Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has attempted to laugh off speculation linking Lionel Messi with a future move to Paris Saint-Germain.
With Messi having just over five months remaining on his contract, PSG are in a position where they can hold formal discussions with the Argentina international.
Sporting director Leonardo has not been shy in acknowledging that the French giants are monitoring the player's situation at Camp Nou.
In response to Leonardo's recent comments, Koeman has admitted that he would be interested in Kylian Mbappe and Neymar if they became available in the future.
The Dutchman is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "If you ask me if I'm interested in Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe, I'd say yes.
"I don't know what will happen in the future; I can't give an opinion on those. We try to have the best squad possible."
Manchester City are also said to be among the clubs who are keen on signing Messi on a free transfer.
