Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in La Liga on Wednesday, September 9.

Wednesday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:

Atletico Madrid willing to cash in on Arsenal target Thomas Partey?

Arsenal have reportedly been handed a boost in the race to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.

While the Gunners are known to hold an interest in the Ghana international, they appear to be reluctant to pay the player's £45m release clause.

Ahead of the new season, Atletico have been refusing to considering anything less than the stated fee, a stance also taken with part-exchange deals.

However, according to Marca, the La Liga outfit are willing to conclude the transfer of Espanyol's Marc Roca, who is regarding as a potential replacement for Partey.

That could theoretically lead to Atletico reconsidering how to handle the 27-year-old, aware that they need to reduce their wage bill over the coming weeks.

Partey has, so far, rejected any offers of a new contract from Atletico, a club which he has represented since 2015 after two loan spells elsewhere.

Manchester United 'do not want buy-back clause in Sergio Reguilon deal'

Real Madrid are reportedly insisting on a buy-back clause if they allow Sergio Reguilon to sign for Manchester United.

Despite having impressed during a loan spell at Sevilla, Reguilon remains behind Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.

At a time when they are keen to raise funds and reduce their wage bill, Los Blancos are said to be willing to allow the left-back to link up with Man United.

However, according to COPE, the La Liga champions are insisting on being provided with the option of re-signing the Spaniard at a later date.

Although United are regarded as the frontrunners for the 23-year-old, they have little interest in agreeing to Real's most recent demand.

The Premier League giants must now decide whether they will to proceed with a £25m deal.
