Premier League clubs have spent more than £450m on players so far in this window, but with just over five weeks to go until business ceases, that figure is expected to rise.

Rest assured, all developments involving football clubs home and abroad will be brought to you throughout the day.

Good morning everyone! What will today bring in the world of transfers? A staggering £450m has already been spent by England's top-flight clubs, and I hazard a guess that plenty more cash will change hands over the course of the next five weeks. Today, according to The Independent, United will finally part ways with Angel di Maria, who is expected to finalise a £45.9m switch to Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine moved to Old Trafford just last year for a British record £59.7m fee.
