The transfer window has been open for less than a week now but that hasn't deterred clubs from making early signings in preparation for the upcoming season.

Good morning folks! The transfer window certainly hasn't been dull as of yet, with deals coming in thick and fast throughout the day and night. Chelsea managed to secure the loan signing of Radamel Falcao, Spurs look ready to beat the Blues to the signing of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Diego Costa wants Arda Turan to leave Atletico Madrid and to join him in London.
DONE DEAL! There's been some transfer activity in the Serie A, as Roma snap up the loan signing of Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari for a fee of £3.6m.

Last night, reports emerged that Lukas Podolski was on the verge of joining Galatasaray from Arsenal. The Turkish club have now confirmed that the deal is expected to be completed this afternoon, with the German scheduled to be officially revealed at 2.30pm.
DONE DEAL! It was confirmed yesterday that defender George Elokobi has made his return to Colchester United on a two-year deal. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back spent last season at Oldham Athletic.
