Virgil van Dijk's agent has said that the defender is still a target for a number of English clubs.
The Groningen player was linked to a number of sides during the January transfer window, including Brighton & Hove Albion, who had a bid for the 21-year-old turned down.
Henk Maarten Chin told Voetbal International: "The Eredivisie would be fantastic, but England is the best option. His playing style would fit there.
"There are many Championship sides interested, but there are also clubs from the Premier League that are following him. He is ready to take the next step."
Van Dijk has three caps for the Netherlands's Under-21 side.
