Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldinho will join Panathinaikos next month, according to the potential new owner of the Greek club.
Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud has claimed that he has made contact with the 31-year-old's agent and is confident that a deal will be concluded.
"Ronaldinho will be in Athens on December 17 to sign for Panathinaikos," the Sultan's spokesman Vlassis Tsakas told Novaspor FM.
"We have made contact with Ronaldinho's agent, and of course the player himself is aware of the move.
"He is an expensive player but we will do everything we can to overcome the difficulties, I can see this going ahead."
Ronaldinho currently plays in his homeland with Flamengo.
