Scunthorpe United have signed Paddy Madden from Yeovil Town on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 23-year-old striker, who scored 23 goals in League One last season as the Glovers won promotion to Championship, was transfer listed in November.
The Irishman hopes that he can revive his career at Glanford Park.
"I'm relishing the chance to play for Scunthorpe and to help them do well," he told the club's official website.
"I have had the feeling of promotion last season with Yeovil and I am hungry for more promotion so I am excited by this new challenge.
"Things were not working out at Yeovil Town so when I got told the chairman and gaffer here were on to me I was interested. Scunthorpe are a very ambitious club and I want to be part of that."
Madden could make his Scunthorpe debut in their League Two match at Mansfield Town on Saturday.
