The summer transfer window is now officially open for business. While many teams have already made some early purchases, the rumour mill is now expected to go into overdrive.
Pundits have tipped the coming weeks to be one of the busiest spells for Premier League clubs in terms of transfers in recent memory.
With that in mind, Sports Mole has examined what we believe all of the 20 clubs need to be adding this summer, while also revealing which players your club has been linked with.
Arsenal
Arsene Wenger has set his stool out early be completing the signings of strikers Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud from FC Cologne and Montpellier respectively. Whether the duo have been signed to play alongside skipper Robin van Persie remains to be seen. However, Wenger still has to work to do in the window. A holding midfielder would give his side extra presence, while cover in defensive areas wouldn't go amiss.

Aston Villa
It will be interesting to see what sort of funds new manager Paul Lambert will be provided with. Having lost Emile Heskey and with the Gabriel Agbonlahor's future at Villa Park uncertain, the Scottish boss needs to add some goals. With Richard Dunne and James Collins also ageing, a centre-back or two would also be ideal.

Chelsea
The European champions have been busy already in the transfer market by adding two of Europe's most exciting young midfielders. Rumour has it that new manager Roberto Di Matteo is not ready to stop at Eden Hazard and Marko Marin either. With Didier Drogba heading for China and Fernando Torres still blowing hot and cold in front of goal, don't be surprised to see a high-profile striker signing on at Stamford Bridge. A right-back may also be added to Di Matteo's squad.

Everton
David Moyes never has too much money to spend. As a result, Everton supporters may feel that the best piece of business Moyes can do this summer is keeping Leighton Baines out of the clutches of Manchester United. With Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville now entering their veteran years, the Scottish boss may consider acquiring a right-back. Concluding the permanent addition of Steven Pienaar will also win favour with the fans.

Fulham
Having lost out on Pavel Pogrebnyak to Reading, Fulham boss Martin Jol reacted quickly to replace the Russian's goals with Croatian striker Mladen Petric. However, Jol will also need to find an alternative for experienced midfielder Danny Murphy, who has opted to drop down to the Championship with Blackburn Rovers. With the likes of Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland at the back, the purchase of a pacey defender would also be welcome.

Liverpool
It is set up to be a rather unpredictable summer at Anfield. Very little is known as to how much money new boss Brendan Rodgers will receive to strengthen his squad. Some reports have claimed that he will be forced to sell before he can buy. One thing that is certain with Rodgers is that whoever he recruits will be comfortable in possession of the ball. With Stewart Downing unimpressive for large parts of last season, a winger or two may arrive, while a striker to lighten the load off of Luis Suarez may also be on Rodgers's wishlist.

Manchester City
Having won the league title for the first time since 1968, Roberto Mancini's task this season is to defend that crown. In truth, there are not too many areas of City's starting lineup that require strengthening. However, Mancini is said to be looking for a centre-back to challenge Joleon Lescott for a slot in the team. The Italian may also need to sign a striker should Edin Dzeko or Carlos Tevez be sold.

Manchester United
For the last four or five years Man United fans have called upon on Sir Alex Ferguson to bolster his team's midfield. The Scot appears to have listened this summer, having already sealed the arrivals of Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell. However, a holding midfielder is also believed to be on Ferguson's radar, while a left-back and striker may also be considered to replace Patrice Evra and Dimitar Berbatov.

Newcastle United
The Magpies surprised almost everybody last year by finishing fifth in the Premier League. Alan Pardew has pulled off some real coups during his stint in charge of Newcastle, with the likes of Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba and Yohan Cabaye all impressing. With little funds expected to be available to him, Pardew will be hoping to discover some more cheap gems this time around. Despite keeping a number of clean sheets last time out, the club's defence could do with some improving. The arrival of a striker to challenge Cisse would also improve things.

Norwich City
It is a big summer for Norwich and new coach Chris Hughton. Having survived in the Premier League under the guidance of Paul Lambert, new additions are required to ensure their place as a top flight club is secure for another year. Hughton has already made his first move by adding Steven Whittaker on a free from Rangers. With plenty of options in midfield, it may be worth Hughton concentrating his efforts on tightening up a particularly leaky defence. Captain Grant Holt will also need to be replaced should he be granted his wish to leave Carrow Road.

Queens Park Rangers
Mark Hughes has been the busiest manager so far during the off-season. Andy Johnson, Ryan Nelsen, Rob Green and Samba Diakite have all agreed permanent switches to Loftus Road. However, improvement is still needed in all areas for a team that stayed up by the skin of their teeth last season. A pacey centre-back and winger to edge an ageing Clint Hill and Shaun Wright-Phillips out of the side should be a priority.

Reading
Reading's new owners stated their intentions last month by reaching an agreement with Russian international Pogrebnyak, who scored numerous goals during a loan spell with Fulham last season. Similar additions will be required it the Royals are to retain their Premier League status. Brian McDermott has a largely young squad at his disposal which could do with the addition of some top flight experience.

Southampton
Like fellow promoted side Reading, Southampton have a squad largely dominated with youthful footballers. The addition of some players with Premier League know-how would be more than welcome, particularly in the key areas such as centre-back, centre-midfield and striker.

Stoke City
Stoke's direct style means that only certain players fit Tony Pulis's transfer criteria. Peter Crouch proved to be a good signing last season, but the former England international could do with some aid in the goalscoring department. Pulis may also be in the market for a centre-midfielder, with question marks over Glenn Whelan and Dean Whitehead's ability to create chances.

Sunderland
This summer provides Martin O'Neill with his first real opportunity to stamp his mark on the Sunderland squad. Two new strikers could be recruited at the Stadium of Light, with O'Neill known to favour a big man - little man combination. The addition of defenders may also be on the agenda, with both Wes Brown and John O'Shea spending lengthy periods on the sidelines last season.

Swansea City
Like Norwich, Swansea have a new manager in Michael Laudrup, who is looking to build upon the work done by another boss during his side's first season in the Premier League. Laudrup has already revealed that he is looking to add goals to his squad, particularly after the club failed to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson on a permanent basis. A centre-back to replace the ageing Garry Monk and Alan Tate is also required.

Tottenham Hotspur
With the wheeling-and-dealing Harry Redknapp no longer Spurs manager, it will be interesting to see what type of transfer policy the new manager will employ. Whoever that may be, he will need to add some pace to the heart of his defence. With Luka Modric also thought to want out, a creative midfielder will also be required, as will a striker if a permanent deal is not concluded for Emmanuel Adebayor.

West Bromwich Albion
New manager Steve Clarke made his first signing yesterday in the form of goalkeeper Ben Foster. With that business now done, Clarke may well turn his attention to the midfield, which is in need of some creativity. He may also look to add an experienced defender to his ranks.

West Ham United
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has been rather busy so far this summer. 'Big Sam' has already completed the additions of Jussi Jaaskelainen, Mohamed Diame, George McCartney and Stephen Henderson. However, that is unlikely to be enough to keep the Hammers in the Premier League. A proven Premier League goalscorer would be a welcome signing, as would a winger to provide the crosses for the likes of Carlton Cole.

Wigan Athletic
Having defied the odds to stay in the Premier League once again, Roberto Martinez is said to be keen on building a squad that is capable of challenging for mid-table finish. Whether he is giving the money to make this happen seems to be doubtful. Whatever funds he does receive need to spent on a goalscorer and a holding midfielder to replace Diame, who has joined West Ham.
