Troyes have moved off the bottom of the Ligue 1 table with a narrow 1-0 victory over Evian Thonon Gaillard at home.
The only goal of the game between two of the bottom-three sides at Stade de l'Aube came 12 minutes from time.
Stephane Darbion was the architect of the winner as he fed in Jean-Christophe Bahebeck to find the target from the centre of the Evian box with his left foot.
The defeat sees Troyes move up to second from bottom in the league table with 31 points from 35 matches, while Evian are now three points above them in 18th.
