Ukraine are currently a goal down against Slovakia in this evening's Euro 2016 Group C qualifier at the NSK Olympic Stadium.
The home side were quickest out of the starting blocks, charging forward as early as the second minute, but Kirill Kovalchuk's effort flew just wide of the Slovakian post.
The deadlock, however, was broken by Jan Kozak's side in the 18th minute, when Robert Mak drifted in off his flank and was put clean through on goal.
The PAOK man was able time to steady himself, take a touch, get his head up and pass the ball into the near post to give the visitors the lead.
Ukraine finished the half strongly, as Taras Stepanenko's header was frantically cleared in the Slovakia box just before half time, while Roman Zozulya also saw his effort blocked a minute later.
