Ukraine: Five key players

Sports Mole highlights five members of the Ukraine team who could cause England problems tomorrow night.

England will take on Ukraine in Kiev tomorrow night in what is an important World Cup qualifier for both sides.

While many are bound to know the England players who are on show, people may not be as familiar with who is included in the Ukraine starting lineup.

With that in mind, Sports Mole has identified five players who could cause the Three Lions difficulty.

Anatoliy Tymoshchuk

The former Bayern Munich midfielder is the experienced head in the Ukraine team. At the age of 34, he will make his 131st appearance for the Yellows against the Three Lions. He does not cover the amount of ground that he once did earlier in his career, but his presence in front of the back four is designed to make Ukraine more difficult to break down.

Yevhen Khacheridi

The 26-year-old made his debut during the 1-0 home win over England back in 2009 and since then he has become a regular fixture at the heart of the Ukraine defence. Standing at 6'6", the Dynamo Kiev defender is also a force in the opposition's penalty area. He has scored three goals during the ongoing qualification process, including twice last time out against San Marino.

Yevhen Konoplyanka

England should know all about the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger following his fantastic strike against them at Wembley earlier in the campaign. The 23-year-old has been in positive creative form of late, having set up four of the nine goals against San Marino.

Roman Zozulya

Dubbed the 'new Andriy Shevchenko', there is plenty of pressure on 23-year-old Zozulya back in his homeland. He showed the petulant side to his game when he was dismissed against Montenegro earlier this year, but his recent club form has been impressive. He has found the net four times in his last three matches for Dnipro, a record that includes a brace against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Andriy Yarmolenko

The Kiev winger has displayed during his 33 international appearances that he possesses a keen eye for goal. He has hit the back of the net on 11 occasions, including recent important strikes against Poland and Moldova. What's more, Ukraine have lost just once when Yarmolenko has been among the scorers.
