In a game of few chances, the visitors were brightest in the early stages and came close to opening the scoring in the 25th minute when Josue Sa fired wide of goal.
At the other end, Gian Martins saw a shot blocked on the stroke of half time, with Uniao looking the more dominant side in the second half.
Nevertheless, neither team could break the deadlock as the spoils were shared among the two competitors.
