Arsenal's pre-season preparations have continued with a 2-1 win against the Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan.
The Gunners almost took the lead in the 10th minute when Theo Walcott danced through the defence only to see his effort come back off the post.
Walcott then squandered a good chance in the 27th minute when he put a rebound high over the bar from a narrow angle.
Lukasz Fabianski had to be alert to make a fine save before the break as the sides went in level.
Not long after the restart Arsenal were in front as Walcott dinked the ball into the path of Lukas Podolski, who slammed into the bottom corner.
However, Urawa got themselves level just before the hour mark as Yuki Abe volleyed a poorly defended corner in at the far post.
The final say went to Arsenal, though, as Chuba Akpom took advantage of some sloppy defending to tap in the winner with eight minutes to play.
