How Uruguay could line up against Chile

:Headline: How Uruguay could line up against Chile:
Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Uruguay could line up for Monday's Copa America clash with Chile.
Sports Mole

Going into Monday's Copa America clash with Chile, Uruguay should be led by the potent front two of Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani and Atletico Madrid talisman Luis Suarez.

Suarez and Cavani sit first and second respectively in the all-time Uruguayan scoring charts, having hit a combined 114 goals for their nation.

They should be supported by the threat of Nicolas De la Cruz, while manager Oscar Tabarez may look to bring in another winger after setting up defensively to take on Argentina, with Brian Ocampo or Facundo Torres likely getting the nod on the right flank.

That change of approach could see midfielder Lucas Torreira sacrificed, with La Celeste potentially preferring a pairing of Real Madrid prospect Federico Valverde and Juventus start Rodrigo Bentancur in the middle.

Despite being just 22 years old and playing somewhat of a sporadic role in the Spanish capital, Valverde has already appeared 25 times for his nation, quickly becoming a key man for Uruguay.

At the back, former Atletico Madrid duo Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez should continue to partner up at the heart of the defence, having made a combined 205 international appearances.

Martin Caceres will also form part of the back four, having recently brought up his 100th international cap.

Uruguay possible starting lineup: Muslera; Gonzalez, Godin, Gimenez, Caceres; Ocampo, Valverde, Bentancur, De La Cruz; Suarez, Cavani
