Luis Suarez has stated that the two goals he scored to help beat England 2-1 were for his critics.
The 27-year-old Liverpool striker scored in both halves to condemn England to their second straight defeat with their World Cup campaign in the balance.
The Uruguayan striker claimed: "Before the game, too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years.
"This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now."
England will fail to make it out of the group stages for the first time since 1958 if Italy fail to beat Costa Rica in tonight's game, which kicks off at 5pm.
