Two goals from Roberto Soldado have helped Valencia to record a 4-2 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie at the Mestalla.
Valencia took the lead in the 11th minute as Victor Ruiz headed home Pablo Piatti's cross.
The hosts added a second just a minute later when Soldado nicked in at the near post to find the net.
The striker scored again just before the break as he converted from the penalty spot following Kevin Strootman's foul on Jonas.
It was 4-0 in the 56th minute when Piatti broke clear of the PSV defence before calmly slotting in.
Despite the good night in attack for the Spaniards, two late away goals from Eindhoven have made sure that the tie is not over yet.
Ola Toivonen fired in a penalty with seven minutes to play after Jeremy Mathieu had brought down Strootman in the area.
The visitors grabbed a second in the final moments of the match when Georgino Wijnaldum was on hand to put away Zakaria Labyad's cross.
