Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves has refused to deny that he insulted Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca during Sunday evening's La Liga clash between the two sides.
Bacca scored the first of Sevilla's two penalties towards the end of the first period, but saw his second saved by Alves.
The striker claimed after the match that the Brazilian made a disrespectful remark before the second spot kick and Alves has conceded that "a lot of things are said out on the pitch".
"Did I call Bacca a Colombia so-and-so? A lot of things are said out on the pitch but I've never disrespected anybody," Alves told Cadena SER.
Valencia won 3-1 at the Mestalla.
