Valencia defender Ricardo Costa has been ruled out of action for the next 10 days with a thigh injury.
The 32-year-old, who has been with the club since 2010, was forced off in the second half of their 3-1 win over Sevilla at the Mestalla on Sunday evening.
It had initially been thought that the Portuguese would return for the midweek trip to Granada, but he posted on his official Twitter account that he had suffered damage to his thigh muscle.
The injury is also expected to keep him out of Saturday's home tie with capital outfit Rayo Vallecano.
