La Liga outfit Elche are reportedly preparing to bring former Valencia forward Nelson Valdez back to Spain.
The 30-year-old, who has netted 12 times in 66 games for Paraguay, scored nine times for Valencia last season before completing a move to Al Jazira in the summer.
However, according to AS, the experienced forward is unsettled at his new club and is keen on a return to Spain, with a number of clubs monitoring proceedings.
It is believed that Elche will need to part with a figure in the region of £2.5m to sign the striker.
