Former Wales international midfielder Carl Robinson has been appointed as the new head coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Robinson replaces Martin Rennie, who was sacked in October after the Whitecaps failed to make the MLS playoffs.
The 37-year-old has spent the past two seasons as Rennie's assistant at BC Place.
As a player, Robinson made over 300 Football League appearances, turning out for the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Norwich City.
