Venezuela have shocked the rest of the Copa America with a 1-0 win over Colombia.
Colombia had a whole host of superstars playing such as Juan Cuadrado, Carlos Bacca and James Rodriguez but they were no match compared to the determination and fight of their minnow opponents.
Venezuela had the upper hand straight away and a counter attack from Alejandro Guerra saw Salomon Rondon almost get on the end of a cross at the back post but Cristian Zapata was aware enough to clear the ball for a corner.
Minutes later, David Ospina had to be treated after diving at the legs of Guerra with the midfielder through on goal.
Venezuela continued to remain on top and Ospina did well to save a low drilled shot by Ronald Vargas, before being called into action again to parry away a long range Guerra shot.
Colombia started brighter in the second half with both Rodriguez and Carlos Sanchez seeing volleys fly wide of the target.
It was Venezuela that struck first though to shock the Colombians with Rondon firing in a powerful header after a quick counter attack found Juan Arango whose cross was pounced on by the big striker.
Colombia had a superb chance to equalise after Rodriguez found Teofilo Gutierrez with plenty of time in the box, but the River Plate striker took too long and his eventual shot was easily blocked.
A Rodriguez shot was well parried by Alain Baroja and Jackson Martinez continued to cause trouble for the Venezuelan defence, but it was all to no avail as Colombia left the Estadio El Teniente having succumbed to defeat.
