Villarreal boss Marcelino Garcia Toral has been handed a two-match suspension following his conduct in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Real Betis.
The Yellow Submarine manager was dismissed by match officials towards the end of the La Liga contest after protesting about the referee's failure to award a penalty when Mexican winger Javier Aquino had been challenged inside the area.
According to the Spanish Football Federation's Competition Committee, he has been charged for 'protesting a refereeing decision with arms raised and clapping, having previously been warned several times'.
Marcelino will therefore be in the stands for Villarreal's upcoming league matches against Granada and Athletic Bilbao.
