Aaron Ramsey has hailed the effort of his teammates in guiding Wales to a vital 1-0 victory over Belgium in their Euro 2016 qualifier at at Cardiff City Stadium.
Gareth Bale scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute to edge his team past Marc Wilmots's men as Chris Coleman's side put in a resilient display to secure the three points.
"It was a great effort from the lads, everybody worked their socks off and there were a few players struggling with cramp at the end but that just shows the amount of effort we put in," Ramsey told Sky Sports News.
"We prepared amazing all week, everybody – even the players who weren't involved tonight, who didn't have the chance to get on, they've been superb as well. Full credit, the fans came in their numbers and we put on a bit of a show for them tonight.
"It was probably one of the best atmospheres I've played in a Welsh jersey so thank you very much to everybody who came tonight and I hope we did you proud."
Wales moved top of Group B as a result of their win and are now three points clear of Belgium with four matches remaining in their qualifying campaign.
