Wales winger Gareth Bale has admitted that he was delighted with his side's performance during the 0-0 draw with Belgium in their Euro 2016 qualifying clash.
Chris Coleman's men put in a solid defensive display against Marc Wilmots's side in a match of few chances to earn a vital point in their push to qualify for the competition in France.
Bale told Sky Sports News: "To get any result was a fantastic performance from us. We'll take the point.
"We started a bit slow in the first half but the football we played in the second half we showed true courage, true character and to get a point is massive for us.
"We put expectation on ourselves more than anyone and we know what we're capable of. It was great to get a point, we showed a good performance for the fans."
Wales are second in Group B following their draw in Brussels.
