Wales have achieved their highest ever world ranking position in the FIFA listings after improving 15 places to 22nd spot.
Four years ago, Wales found themselves as low as 116th, but under the guidance of Chris Coleman, they have made steady progress each year which has resulted in the team making significant strides up the rankings.
A 3-0 victory over Israel in March helped the Dragons to first place in the Euro 2016 qualification group, and although they have since slipped to second behind Belgium, they are in line to reach their first major tournament since 1958.
Wales's next fixture sees them host Belgium in June.
