Wales international Gareth Bale has declared that his country's 2-1 friendly victory over Austria will boost confidence around the camp.
The Tottenham Hotspur star believes that tonight's win has put the team in good stead for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
"It is important to get a victory, especially at home and hopefully that will give us confidence heading into the qualifiers," he told Sky Sports News.
"We know Scotland is a massive game. We have not had the start to our campaign that we would have wanted, but we are going to fight all the way to get as many wins as we can."
Bale scored one and set up Sam Vokes during the Austria win, with Mark Janko netting for the opposition.
