Walsall manager Dean Smith has revealed that he will give striker Tom Bradshaw every possible chance of proving his fitness ahead of Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final with Bristol City.
Bradshaw, the club's top goalscorer with 16 goals, is struggling with a hamstring injury, and although important to his side's chances, Smith has insisted that the forward won't play unless he is fully fit.
The 44-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "We will certainly give him time, but he will have to train tomorrow. We don't want to put him on the pitch not knowing whether he is going to blow up or not."
Walsall's appearance at Wembley Stadium will be the first in their 127-year history.
