Walsall have reportedly shortlisted West Bromwich Albion coach Darren Moore for their managerial vacancy.
The club lost their previous coach Dean Smith to Brentford this week, and according to Here is the City, Moore is high on the list of candidates for the League One club alongside Mark Cooper and Lee Clark.
It is suggested that the 41-year-old is keen to move into management and he would know a few of the Saddlers' players, having worked with Romaine Sawyers and Sam Mantom when they were a part of West Brom's academy.
John Ward, John Whitney and Neil Cutler are in temporary charge of Walsall until a new manager is hired.
Moore rejoined the West Brom coaching staff last year after he left a role with the youth team to become the first-team coach at Blackburn Rovers in 2013.
